Rhaphidophora tetrasperma – Mini Monstera “Kuss Ventura” (Large)

When I first planted it, I thought it might take its time. But it soared instead—bold, like a dragon. I placed it in the southern part of our home, where feng shui connects to recognition and growth. Over time, our fortune seemed to grow right alongside it.

As Ventura stretched taller, it became more bold and commanding—like a living Jenga tower, not taking pieces away but constantly adding life. Its roots formed an intelligent network, spanning from top to bottom, sideways, and everywhere in between. Sometimes at night, I’d step outside just to gently tuck a root into place while enjoying the Florida night. Over time, they stiffened like branches, holding shape and memory. Layer by layer, Ventura built itself—quietly, but with presence.

This one’s name is Kuss Ventura, for the good fortune it has brought us. It was a thoughtful cutting from my former student, gifted into an already growing zoo of plants around us.
