About the Grower 🌿
What started as two small plants in a Baltimore apartment back in 2015 has grown—literally—into something wild and deeply meaningful. In those early days, everything lived indoors, shaped by natural light from a northwest-facing window. It was a quiet beginning, where I learned that plants, like people, respond to attention, balance, and time.
In 2019, I stepped outside for the first time in Florida, and everything changed. Growing in the open air introduced a different kind of relationship—less control, more trust. The plants stretched, adapted, and found their own rhythm in the elements. That experience reshaped how I saw growth—not as something to manage, but something to support.
Now, in 2026, as I prepare for a move to Toronto, the approach is evolving once again. The environment is shifting indoors, into a semi-hydroponic system built on stability and intention—LECA, reservoirs, and grow lights. It’s a more controlled setting, but the philosophy remains unchanged: observe closely, move patiently, and create the conditions for each plant to become what it’s meant to be.
