Philodendron bipinnatifidum – Tree Philodendron (Large)

Philodendron bipinnatifidum, widely known as the Tree Philodendron, is one of the most striking tropicals I’ve grown since moving to South Florida. Its enormous, deeply cut leaves spread like a starburst, creating a bold architectural display. Aerial roots often emerge along its trunk, twisting downward like tentacles and adding to its otherworldly appearance.

The pot holding this plant is cracked but not replaced. For me, those imperfections show history and resilience—reminders that both plants and vessels carry the marks of time in their own unique way.
