Monstera deliciosa – Swiss Cheese Plant “OG Sulley” (XXL)

Adopted

“OG Sulley” is my original Monstera deliciosa, a plant that traveled with me from Baltimore to Florida. Here is an earlier photo while in Charm City. I first knew Monstera as a cultural icon—its split leaves appearing in artwork and across design patterns. But in Florida, I came to know its true character, watching it grow wild outdoors and live up to its name: Monstera, the monster of the plant world.

This plant began in a pot outside my home. Over time, it outgrew its container, crawled out, and rooted itself directly into the ground. From there, it spread and climbed with unstoppable energy, turning into a massive, living sculpture. Both a design symbol and a natural force, “OG Sulley” embodies the resilience, boldness, and monstrous beauty that make Monstera unforgettable.

🪴 Note About This Plant
