Monstera adansonii – Swiss Cheese Plant “Queso” (Small)

Adopted

“Queso” is a Monstera adansonii I picked up in Delray, South Florida. I was immediately drawn to it—a plant that feels like a mix between Monstera and Pothos, with trailing vines and those classic perforated leaves that make it so distinctive. Light, playful, and full of texture, “Queso” brings tropical energy to the room without ever asking for much in return.

Monstera adansonii, often called the Swiss Cheese Plant or Swiss Cheese Vine, is a favorite for its airy foliage and easygoing nature. Native to Central and South America, it thrives in bright, indirect light and grows quickly with moderate watering. It’s one of those plants that adapts effortlessly—whether trailing from a shelf or climbing upward, “Queso” adds warmth and movement wherever it grows.
