Kalanchoe thyrsiflora – Flapjack “Puka” (Small)
Adopted
I first came across this Flapjack (Kalanchoe thyrsiflora) while living in Baltimore. Its simple, joyful look instantly caught my eye. As a succulent, it thrives with little attention—straightforward to grow, easy to care for, and quick to reward patience. In Florida, like so many other plants, it grew with prehistoric energy, producing new offshoots like something out of the Jurassic age. This one is a baby from the original mother plant that has continued to surprise me with its steady resilience.
🪴 Note About This Plant
- Low-maintenance succulent with paddle-shaped leaves.
- Thrives in full sun and tolerates drought conditions well.
- Baby offshoot from the original Flapjack “mothership.”
