Ficus elastica – Rubber Plant “OG CopyCat” (Large)
Adopted
“OG CopyCat” is one of my very first plants, brought with me from Baltimore and still thriving today. After reading about their air-purifying qualities, I picked up this Ficus elastica alongside my first Sansevierias. It quickly became a cornerstone of my indoor collection..
Though it spends most of its life indoors, in South Florida I sometimes bring it outside during the cooler autumn and winter months. That little time outdoors helps it balance its growth, encouraging fuller, even foliage. Known for their resilience, Rubber Plants are forgiving and steadfast, and “OG CopyCat” has been exactly that—steady, cleansing, and easy to grow. It’s an OG I’m especially grateful for, a plant that’s grown with me through the years.
