Euphorbia tithymaloides – Devil’s Backbone “OG Creamy Mint” (Large)

Adopted

I first came across this Zig-Zag Plant (Euphorbia tithymaloides) during a bike run near West Palm Beach. While buying bicycles from a local seller, I noticed her plant with striking zig-zag stems and silvery-pink leaves. She clearly loved it—and to my surprise, she gifted me a cutting along with the bikes. Since then, it’s become one of the most captivating growers in my collection. Its stems twist upward like frozen lightning, while the leaves sometimes blush pale white and pink.

One of the most striking features of this plant is its rare stem variation. One of them, the main stem is half green and half creamy mint-white, while the branching shoots emerge entirely in white. The effect is remarkable, almost glowing—earning it the nickname Creamy Mint, a subtle nod to its refreshing, luminous look. Chaotic yet elegant, it grows like a living sculpture fueled by curiosity and light.
