Euphorbia tirucalli – Pencil Cactus “OG Node” (XL) + Rhipsalis Mistletoe Cactus

When I first saw Euphorbia tirucalli, also known as Milk Brush, in Baltimore, it instantly charmed me with its playful bounce. Despite the cold winters, it stood surprisingly tough, holding its form and spirit. Once I brought it to Florida, everything changed—the plant exploded in growth, sending out nodes and expanding its branching network. What began as a small curiosity became a structural giant with a thick, sturdy stem at its core. This one has become a true OG in my collection—self-sustaining, architectural, and endlessly determined to grow.

Somewhere along the way in Florida, this Euphorbia picked up a companion: Rhipsalis, also called Mistletoe Cactus. It was never present in Baltimore, so I suspect the local environment introduced it. The two now share the same pot—an unexpected pairing that adds texture and company, making the display feel even more alive.
