Dracaena fragrans – Lemon Lime & Dracaena deremensis – White Jewel “OG Shadez” (XL)

This tall Dracaena pairing stands at about 6 ft 3 in (190 cm), combining three vibrant Dracaena fragrans ‘Lemon Lime’ canes with one elegant Dracaena deremensis ‘White Jewel’. The Lemon Lime came from Delray, where I restored it back to health, while the White Jewel was brought down from Maryland. Together, they’ve grown into a striking combo—bright chartreuse leaves striped with yellow balanced by dark green foliage edged in crisp white.

Over time, these Dracaenas became more than just houseplants. In our South Florida bedroom, they provided living shade, softening the light and creating a calm, natural screen (read more here). Indoors they’ve thrived, requiring little more than consistent water, occasional rotation, and patience. Reliable and sculptural, this combo has been one of the most grounding presences in our home.
