Aloiampelos ciliaris – Climbing Aloe – “Bazil” (Medium)

When I first spotted this Climbing Aloe in Baltimore, I couldn’t believe it—an aloe that climbs? I brought home two small shoots, curious to see how they’d grow. Years later in Florida, it has exploded into a massive display, looking more like a firework or wild Medusa than a neat climber. Even without support, it sprawls and spills with energy. Tough, fast, and easygoing, this aloe doesn’t ask for much—just sun, warmth, and room to show off its wild side.
