ZZ Plant
Zamioculcas zamiifolia, more commonly known as the ZZ Plant, is celebrated for its toughness, glossy foliage, and architectural form. Native to East Africa, it has adapted to survive in challenging environments, storing water in its thick rhizomes and thriving on very little care. With upright stems and shiny, symmetrical leaflets, the ZZ brings effortless structure and a touch of elegance to any space.
Often called the “indestructible plant,” ZZs tolerate low light, dry air, and infrequent watering with ease. Their resilience makes them perfect for beginners, busy households, or offices where consistent care isn’t always possible. Beyond practicality, they carry symbolic ties to prosperity and longevity, making them both stylish and meaningful additions to plant collections.
