It was truly delightful meeting Sylwia. I appreciated her deep knowledge and passion for growing plants. Even in our short conversation, I learned a great deal. What stood out most was her enthusiasm and genuine car about plants.
A Rare Barter
Our exchange centered on something rare. We bartered a Sansevieria Bantel’s Sensation (from Washington, D.C.) for a Green Arrow (from Bali)—a plant I had only read about and seen in pictures long ago. To my surprise, Sylwia not only knew it well—she had one herself! The act of trading rare plants was incredibly exciting, especially since both are such unique finds in South Florida. The Green Arrow, in particular, is a true rarity across the United States, making this barter feel even more meaningful.
