The Story of “Baby Finger”
Around 2023 near where I live, landscapers once cleared a patch of greenery, cutting down both a Dracaena marginata—the Dragon Tree—and a Hawaiian Ti. When I passed by afterward, I noticed that not everything had been lost. Beneath the trimmed branches and fallen leaves were a few small survivors struggling to hang on.
I decided to go back and rescue what I could. From that moment came three plants that have since recovered and grown stronger:
