Thank You, Leslie: Palm, Purple, and Medusa

It was great meeting Judy and connecting through plants. Moments like this remind me how much joy and community can grow from simple exchanges. Sharing greenery is more than just trading—it’s about creating connections, bringing a little more nature into our lives, and finding common ground in the love of plants.

The Palm and Its Canopy

That palm has always been special. Over the years, it provided shade to so many other plants, creating a natural canopy. I always loved watching its fronds dance in the wind—it reminded me of bamboo fields swaying in a martial arts film, serene yet full of energy. Passing it along feels like sharing a piece of that quiet strength and rhythm.

The Purple Heart & Medusa Plant

The Purple Heart brings vivid color and life wherever it grows, while the Medusa plant offers its own sculptural beauty. Together, they’re plants that carry both presence and personality—easy to care for yet full of character. I can’t wait to see how they thrive under Leslie’s care.

Test Driving a Cart

For moving larger plants, we recently purchased a 3-in-1 Folding Hand Truck. I chose this one because it’s built with a commercial-grade A3 carbon steel frame—strong enough to handle the heavier loads. Some plants, like the ponytail palm, are simply too heavy to move manually, and this cart makes the job much easier. It arrived just in time too, since I had a few big deliveries today.

TY Leslie

Thank you again, Leslie. It was such a breeze communicating with you, and I could tell your enthusiasm for these plants was genuine. I feel good knowing they’ve gone to someone who values them as much as I did. Please enjoy the shade of the palm, the color of the Purple Heart, and the sculptural presence of the Medusa. I look forward to seeing them thrive in their new home.
