Thank you Paul! Two Large Sansevieria clyndrica will be happy

Hi Paul,

Thank you so much for adopting the two large Sansevieria cylindrica (cylindrical snake plants)! I’m excited they’re heading to a great home.

Here are a few quick notes to help them thrive and show off their sculptural growth:

Quick care + growth

  • Light: Bright, indirect light to gentle morning sun; tolerates lower light but grows faster with more light.
  • Water: Let the soil dry out fully between waterings; water deeply, then drain well.
  • Soil: Fast-draining mix (cactus/succulent blend) in a pot with drainage.
  • Growth habit: Forms upright “spears” and slowly multiplies by underground rhizomes (you’ll see pups over time).
  • Shaping tip: Rotate the pot monthly for even, symmetrical fans; you can also group/“braid” young spears for a sculptural look.
  • Seasonal note: Protect from cold snaps and frost; these prefer warmth.
