Thank You, M.W., for Adopting the “3 Sisterz” Snake Plants

When I think of plants and family, we’re all the same really. Some grow close together, leaning on one another, while others branch out yet remain deeply connected at the root.

That’s why I felt it was especially fitting when M.W.—my wife’s sister—adopted the “3 Sisterz” Sansevieria cylindrica. The plant itself is a trio of young spears that emerged together and never parted ways, much like the three sisters in her family. Watching them grow side by side, through rain or shine, has always reminded me of resilience, connection, and the beauty of shared journeys.

I know M.W. will nurture this plant with the same care and intention she brings to her role in her family. As time passes, my hope is that both the plant and all of us continue to grow—weathering challenges together, sharing joy together, and standing strong together. After all, as this little Sansevieria reminds us: we’re all in the same pot.
